AES-256 Encryption at Rest

Every document, database record, and file is encrypted using AES-256 — the same standard used by banks and government agencies. Data cannot be read even if physical storage is compromised.

TLS 1.3 in Transit

All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted with TLS 1.3. No document, query, or response is ever transmitted in plaintext.

Row-Level Security

Access control is enforced at the database level, not the application level. Each user can only query rows they're authorized to see. This is what makes AI permission fencing possible — the database itself blocks unauthorized access.

Hash-Chained Audit Trail

Every action in the data room is logged in a hash-chained audit trail. Each entry cryptographically references the previous one and updates are blocked at the database level, making tampering detectable. Export as CSV or JSON and verify chain integrity.

Dynamic Watermarking

Document views and downloads are stamped with the viewer's name, email, timestamp, and IP address — generated per viewer at access time, with the policy controlled by room admins. If a document is leaked, it traces back to the source.

No AI Training on Your Data

Your documents, queries, and answers are never used to train AI models. AI conversation history is stored encrypted inside your own data room — governed by the same Row-Level Security as your documents — and never leaves your security boundary.

No. Your documents, queries, and AI conversations are never used to train AI models — ours or our providers'. AI conversation history is stored encrypted inside your data room's database (so participants can revisit their answers), protected by the same Row-Level Security as your documents, and deleted with your account.
Every AI query is fenced by Row-Level Security at the database level. When a participant asks a question, the AI retrieves answers only from documents within their permission boundary. It cannot see, reference, or infer from documents outside that boundary — even if they exist in the same data room.
Each audit log entry includes a cryptographic hash of the previous entry (hash-chaining) covering the event's core fields — who, what, which resource, and when. Modifying or deleting a chained entry breaks the chain, making tampering detectable, and a database trigger blocks updates to audit records. You can export the full audit trail as CSV or JSON and independently verify chain integrity.
AES-256 encryption protects data at rest (stored documents and database records). TLS 1.3 encryption protects data in transit (between your browser and our servers). These are the same encryption standards used by banks and government agencies.
