Every answer carries its page number. Click it and the clause is on screen.

Ask “What is the indemnification cap?” and the answer cites page 23 of the merger agreement. Open the citation and the viewer jumps to the clause. Spreadsheet answers cite the sheet and the cell range. If the documents do not say it, the AI says so.

The permission boundary

Same question, two participants, two answers.

Buyer A was given the financials and gets the figure with its source. Buyer B was not, and the AI says it has no such document. The boundary is enforced by Row-Level Security in the database, not by a prompt, so the AI cannot see, quote or learn from anything outside it.

Connect an assistant and say “set up a room for the Series B from this folder”. It creates the room, sorts the files, invites the people you name and answers their questions from the documents. Under your rules:

  • Only within permission. An assistant sees exactly what the person who connected it may see, and never more than their role allows.
  • Approval by default. Invitations, wider access, published Q&A answers and team changes wait for an admin. Deletes, branding and portal publishing are off until an owner allows them.
  • Every action on the record. Each step is written to the hash-chained audit log as done by an assistant for a named person.

No. Your documents, queries and AI conversations are never used to train AI models, ours or our providers'. The AI providers we use are configured for zero retention, so nothing is kept on their side. Conversation history is stored encrypted inside your own data room, under the same Row-Level Security as your documents.
Encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3), isolated per organization by Row-Level Security in the database, processed transiently with nothing kept afterwards, and never used to train AI models. Every action on it is traceable in a hash-chained audit log. Hosting details and the full sub-processor list are on the Trust Center for your vendor review.

When a participant asks the AI a question, retrieval only searches the documents that participant has been granted. Permission checks inside the database query exclude documents outside that participant's access, even if they are in the same room. You can test it in the live demo room.
